❄ If the hotel where you're staying is located in La Massana, you can take the cable car that will drop you off at the Pal ski slopes. This is a perfect way to get to the slopes without having to drive.

❄ Guess who will be waiting for you when you get there? Pocoyo. There's also a sledding area and a slope where kids can go down on giant donuts called tubbing and a space with conveyor belts, with which the little ones can combine skiing with some of the many snow activities available.

1. Snow activities in Grandvalira to do as a family:

Snowshoeing

A great way to get to know the Grandvalira ski resort is by doing the snowshoeing activity. The activity starts at 9.30am and lasts about two hours and the meeting point is the Grau Roig ski area car park lot.

Double snowmobiles

This activity is super fun to do as a family! It lasts about 25 minutes and starts at 4.30 pm. in the Grau Roig ski area. You will follow a guide that will take you through some beautiful areas of the Grandvalira ski resort.

** The minimum age to be able to do this activity is 7 years old and the driver must be an adult with a driving license.

Igloo Construction

If the little ones like to build forts at home, they will surely love to build igloos. The activity is in Grau Roig at 9.30am and lasts approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. The recommended minimum age is 7 years.

2. Snow activities in Ordino-Arcalís to do as a family:

Night out in a caterpillar vehicle

Enjoy the nature of Arcalís in its purest form with this activity. The activity takes place at 6.30 pm when the Ordino-Arcalís ski resort is closed. The tour aboard Gica will take you to know the surroundings of the Arcalís mountains. It lasts between 60 and 90 minutes, and you will ski pass through several points of the Coma del Agujero and the Puerto del Rat cave, with its impressive stalactites and ice stalagmites in winter.

3. Cultural activities to do as a family in Andorra:

Apart from skiing and other snow activities, Andorra has much more to offer. If you go to Andorra with the family, you can take the opportunity to visit the following museums:

Ordino Miniature Museum

The Miniature Museum, in Andorra, is an exhibition space of great interest for art lovers , especially those who value the meticulousness of details. This museum is located in Ordino and offers works of art of different kinds.

Carmen Thyssen Museum of Andorra

Venture to know the famous art collection of the Thyssen family in the new and modern Carmen Thyssen museum in Andorra. Children under 18 years old have free admission.

4. Family spa afternoon in Andorra

In Andorra there is one of the largest spa centres in Europe called Caldea. This centre is another place to spend an afternoon with the family. There is an exclusive area for children from 3 to 8 years old that is Likids and the main area allows access to children over 5 years old.

Naturlandia Park

Naturlandia park is between 1600 and 2000 altitude in Sant Julià de Lòria. The park is divided into 2 areas: Level 1600 (recreational) where most of the activities are located ( tobotronc , buggy circuit, zip line and airtrekk) and level 2000 where the animal park is located. The 2 areas are connected by an 8 km road.
