A total of 115 kilometres of tracks , thicknesses that exceed the meter and a half in high levels of Cerler , and an exceptional snow quality in all its valleys. The Aramón group inaugurates the ski season this Friday, December 2 and does it all out. The opening forecast in Cerler and Formigal-Panticosa predicts a day of skiing on the December Bridge in style .
The snowfall of last week has left the ski slopes of the Aramón group in spectacular conditions to inaugurate this 2016-2017 ski campaign. And although snowfall is not expected for the next few days, the decrease in the temperatures of the last days is allowing to work with artificial inivation systems even in the lower areas of the stations. You have to go back six years to find a similar start to the season.
According to the forecast that is shuffled three days after the opening, Cerler expects to open the ski season with 45 kilometres of slopes and thicknesses that exceed the meter and a half of snow at high levels such as Gallinero peak. The Benasque Valley station will open all its sectors, from Basibé to Rincón del Cielo.
In the Formigal-Panticosa ski resort, the opening forecast exceeds 70 kilometres with thicknesses of more than 70 centimeters in the highest areas of the complex. The offer will allow you to travel with skis throughout the station. And the six valleys of the great ski area of the Tena Valley will be open.
In the ski resorts of Teruel, Javalambre and Valdelinares , work is being done to ensure opening as soon as possible.
