Although the Boí Taüll ski resort still has its doors closed, the resort offers a wide summer offer for all profiles of visitors and ages. The summer season officially opens on June 22 and will end on September 11.
For this summer to be special the resort offers new routes through the Aigüestortes National Park , one of the most spectacular places in the Pyrenees. During these routes visitors will be amazed by the beauty of the landscape and will discover all the fauna and flora of the park.
Also, excursions are offered among the charming villages of the Vall de Boí where visitors will learn about the ancient legends of fantastic and mythological beings; both large and small, you will discover the magic behind the landscape! This year also offers a wide and renewed offer of activities such as hiking, paragliding and rafting.
Every year for the summer solstice the fire becomes the protagonist during the fallas season (declared Intangible Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO). This ancestral tradition is lived with great intensity and passion; The locals make their own faults that light up in the lighthouse on top of the mountain, then descend to the center of town.
After it is celebrated and danced around the bonfire fed by the faults. During the night of San Juan , the faults of Boí will be lowered and in Taüll on July 14 .
The most important sporting activity that is going to take place is the Catalan International MTB 2018 Cup , which will pass through the Vall de Boí on June 16 and 17. The resort will also host different competitions such as the Buff Epic Trail Aigüestortes , from June 29 to July 1. And for the month of September during day 2, the Falla Vall de Boí Grand Fund will be held.
