Against wind and tide and despite the storm Gloria that, although somewhat more weakened, also wanted to appear in the mountains of the Vall de Boí , work to repair the chairlift of Puig Falcó has been progressing throughout this week. Those responsible for the ski resort have announced that this Saturday, February 15 will be launched again.
The chairlift, which reaches 2,751 meters high, had to stand on December 27 after the damage suffered by a storm. Since then, skiers have not been able to reach the highest point reached by a ski resort in our Pyrenees , leaving part of the slopes unable to open.
During these almost two months of repairs, the pisapist machines have been working on the slopes to which this ski lift gave access, so that if the weather conditions allow it, this next weekend the skiers will be able to go down the 'Panoramic' or 'Vista Aran', two paths highly appreciated by top-level skiers.
Among the work done is the replacement of the affected bollard , through the use of a helicopter. The operation has been carried out in a fully winter situation with thicknesses that in some days exceeded 200 centimeters of snow comfortably. Currently the maximum thickness is 2 meters of snow and a weekend with pleasant temperatures for skiing and clear skies is expected.

Fair but possible deadlines for the new gondola lift that should connect the village of Benasque with the ski slopes of Cerler. If all goes well, the manufacturer will be awarded this summer, and in autumn they will start working for December 2025 to be able to release it.
and be the first to receive great ski deals!
