Image of Grandvalira during last season
As every year since 1979, on the 27th of October, the Fira d'Andorra has held another edition where, among other things, you can find out what is new in the country's ski resorts. For the last two years, they have all been under the umbrella of Grandvalira Resorts, which means that for the first time Ski Andorra does not have a stand.
Among the novelties announced at the Fira d'Andorra is the improvement of the snowmaking system in the Pla de les Pedres de Grandvalira, which will ensure a better connection between the Soldeu and Grau Roig resorts. Especially at the beginning of the season, when the snow is still falling and the conditions on the slopes make it difficult to open all the facilities.
The general manager of Grandvalira Resorts, Juan Ramon Moreno, also explained that the chairlift being installed in the new El Forn de el Tarter resort will provide access to five kilometres of new pistes. five kilometres of new pistes. This lift has been installed at Pal Arinsal, where it will be replaced by a six-seater, which will also open this coming winter.
This allows us to remain optimistic for this season, in which the desire to continue skiing remains strong.
Grandvalira has already carried out its first canyoning tests.
Fair but possible deadlines for the new gondola lift that should connect the village of Benasque with the ski slopes of Cerler. If all goes well, the manufacturer will be awarded this summer, and in autumn they will start working for December 2025 to be able to release it.
