Ordino Arcalís keeps operating the area of La Coma with limited capacity . This Friday the opening conditions will be updated depending on the evolution of the meteorological episodes of the coming days.
Andorra la Vella, Wednesday, November 29, 2023.- Weather forecasts for the next two days have forced to move the opening date of the 2023-2024 season of Grandvalira and Pal Arinsal. The Pas de la Casa and Grau Roig ski areas of Grandvalira will partially open this Saturday, December 2, while the Soldeu and El Tarter ski areas, and the Pal Arinsal resort, will open on Tuesday, December 5, weather permitting . This Friday the opening conditions will be updated depending on the evolution of the weather episodes in the coming days.
It should be recalled that Ordino Arcalís kicked off the season last Friday, November 24. For the next few days, the Ordino resort will keep the La Coma area open, with the six-people detachable chairlift, the Tristaina gondola lift and the Orris chairlift, which give access to about six kilometers of slopes . The resort will continue to have limited capacity, and day ski passes can only be purchased at the L'Hortell ticket office.
The visit to Santa Claus in Pal Arinsal and in the Canillo ski area of Grandvalira will start as planned this Friday. In this sense, both resorts will open punctually the gondolas of La Massana and Canillo to carry out this activity. In the case of Pal Arinsal, the visit to Santa Claus will take place from Friday December 1, and will also be active during the weekend, as well as from 6 to 10, from 15 to 17 and 22 December. In the Canillo ski area, the visit to Santa Claus will take place on December 2 and 3, December 6 to 10, December 15 to 17 and December 22 and 23. For its part, the visit to Santa Claus in the Cabaneta de Incles of Epic Andorra was launched last Saturday, and remains active every day until December 23. Likewise, the accommodations of Epic Andorra, Cabaña Piolet and Domo Lodge, will also start operating from this Saturday.
Grandvalira 's après-ski temple will kick off the season this Friday, December 1, as scheduled. The grand opening party, however, will be this Saturday, December 2, with the Uruguayan DJ, Tania Vulcano, which will be followed by an agenda full of great parties and many DJs of international reference, which will be informed this week. L'Abarset will also open the restaurant from this Friday and both lunches and dinners will be available.
