Madrid SnowZone has collaborated with the Arroyomolinos City Council, the Local Police and the Civil Defense Office to remove the snow from the streets that the storm Filomena has brought. The snow grooming machines of this centre were incorporated last weekend to the municipal department to remove all the accumulated snow, which in some cases reached half a meter.
Madrid received a historic snowfall that paralyzed the city, which is why they have been working against the clock so that vehicles could return to circulate through the main streets as soon as possible.
The General Director of Madrid SnowZone, Javier Villar, pointed out that all this accumulated snow would be followed by ice, being very important "to release the different accesses to the municipality as soon as possible and facilitate mobility".
On the other hand, the mayor of Arroyomolinos, Ana Millán, published the following message on Twitter thanking the indoor ski centre for its collaboration :
“The snow plow machine will be working all night to clean the main roads of Arroyomolinos. Although there are already many passable areas, we insist that the vehicle only be used for urgent holidays. Thanks to intu Xanadú and SnowZoneMadrid for helping us ”.
Fair but possible deadlines for the new gondola lift that should connect the village of Benasque with the ski slopes of Cerler. If all goes well, the manufacturer will be awarded this summer, and in autumn they will start working for December 2025 to be able to release it.
and be the first to receive great ski deals!
