On August 24, 2019, the Skyvall cable car opened in the town of Loudenvielle. An event that will be targeted for the history of the Peyragudes resort .
This project has been long claimed and has finally seen the light. This cable car will allow the season to be seasonally adjusted : in winter it will be used mainly to transport skiers and from spring to autumn, to transport hiking, mountain-bike enthusiasts or simply to those users who want to comfortably climb up to 1,600 m high.
In total they are 3 km long with a height of 700 m, whose journey will last 9 min. Users will sit comfortably in the 10-seat cabins with which this new cable car has been equipped. You can take a total of 800 people every hour from the departure terminal.
The people in charge of the winter complex of Peyragudes and the Tourist Office affirm that Skyvall will prevent the accumulation of vehicles and reduce CO2 emissions; almost 90,000 trips will be stopped by car, that is, 274 tons of CO2 that will be emitted.
The cable car will be in operation every day until September 1 , and from that date it will start again from 6 to 8 of the same month for the mountain-bike championship. Likewise, it is still necessary to finish building a service building in the same town of Loudenvielle where there will be ticket offices for those who want to buy the ski pass directly instead of online.
At the moment the Skyvall cable car has 27 cabins and in the future they expect to place up to 66, with which up to 2,000 people can be transported per hour.

Fair but possible deadlines for the new gondola lift that should connect the village of Benasque with the ski slopes of Cerler. If all goes well, the manufacturer will be awarded this summer, and in autumn they will start working for December 2025 to be able to release it.
and be the first to receive great ski deals!
