The heat arrived. The snow season comes to an end as spring makes its way. It has been an exceptional winter, with great thicknesses. But there are still some stations that are reluctant to lower the blind, and it is not surprising, since it has been a historic season as far as snow and weather conditions are concerned.
We highlight two stations that allow you to extend your ski days for a few more weeks. You can still enjoy the white queen, and you will also do them in excellent conditions that rarely occur in spring.
The ski resort of Sierra Nevada extends the winter season 2017/18 until May 6, a week more than initially planned, due to the good snow conditions derived from the successive storms the first two weeks of March.
The same goes for Vallnord Ordino-Arcalís, which extends the season until April 30, three weeks ahead of schedule. It is a great opportunity to squeeze the season (prices are more affordable, there are no queues or too much influx on tracks, very good weather ...). You don't have to store skis!
The Catalan station will continue open at 100%, as in the previous seasons, until next May 1. In this way, Masella will offer almost 6 months of skiing, given the start of the season on November 10, 2017.
Fair but possible deadlines for the new gondola lift that should connect the village of Benasque with the ski slopes of Cerler. If all goes well, the manufacturer will be awarded this summer, and in autumn they will start working for December 2025 to be able to release it.
and be the first to receive great ski deals!
