Ordino Arcalís closes its best season in Grandvalira Resorts
The resort has experienced the best season since its integration to Grandvalira Resorts with a total of 186,510 ski days sold, which means an increase of 26% over last season. In addition, benefited by the good conditions in the final stretch of the season, the total number of tickets for the lifts of the Ordino resort increases to 199,641 thanks, to a large extent, to skiers from the sectors and resorts of Grandvalira Resorts that have been forced to advance the closure.
Ordino Arcalís has had the longest season, which has allowed it to keep the facilities open for the entire planned season, a total of 137 days, among which the day of maximum influx was April 4 with 3,402 skiers, coinciding with Easter.
The resort accumulated 375 cm of snow during the season, 17% less than last year. The terrain teams have spent almost 3,000 hours with snow groomers and 100,500 m3 of water transformed into snow produced to offer the best experience to skiers.
Ordino Arcalís was once again the freeride mecca in the Pyrenees.
The lack of precipitation in the Pyrenees has not stopped the resort from carrying out its off-piste competition commitments. The Freeride World Tour passed through the resort for the ninth consecutive year and the best riders in the world were once again able to put on a great show. So did the promising riders of the discipline during the Freeride Junior Tour, a couple of days later and, in April, the competitors of the 3-star Freeride Qualifier Tour circuit, at the JAM Extreme.
The Borrufa Trophy, on the other hand, celebrated its 31st edition with the main novelty of being able to recover all the social events of the event. The competition brought together 200 riders from 25 different countries, such as France, Spain, Switzerland, Ukraine, Argentina, Chile, Brazil, New Zealand, Great Britain, Hong Kong and Kazakhstan, among others.
Ordino Arcalís skiers have rated the ski resort very positively, specifically with an overall satisfaction score of 8.41, according to surveys conducted by an external consultant.
The aspects that received the best score were cleanliness and respect for the environment, and the friendliness and professionalism of the staff, with a score of almost 9 out of 10, as well as the grooming and conditioning of the slopes. Catering, one of the areas where the resort has made great efforts to improve this year, was another of the best rated areas. Finally, 96% of the customers who have spent this season in Ordino Arcalís have confirmed that they intend to return next year.

Fair but possible deadlines for the new gondola lift that should connect the village of Benasque with the ski slopes of Cerler. If all goes well, the manufacturer will be awarded this summer, and in autumn they will start working for December 2025 to be able to release it.
