Although the works are being developed since last March, now they face a phase of greater scope and complexity and, for security reasons, traffic must be restricted during the hours in which these tasks are developed. The cuts have been devised so as to affect as little as possible the schedules of the ski resort, the hours of more traffic (opening and closing) and the displacements of the workers and visitors, as well as the services of buses and transport of goods, according to the Board.
Thus, the road will remain closed from Monday to Friday between 9.15 and 16.30 hours for all vehicles, although a window will be opened between 11.00 and 11.15 hours (to facilitate the transit for buses and freight transport). In addition, from Monday to Thursday traffic will also be closed between 18.00 and 21.00 hours, leaving the road open for the rest of the night. From Friday afternoon and throughout the weekend, the road will also remain open to traffic.
These repair works are being carried out after a landslide that occurred in mid-March on the A-395 access road to the ski resort of Sierra Nevada, at kilometer 22, caused by a heavy rain and snow episode. The road maintenance services acted quickly: they removed all the stones and set up a traffic light for safety.

"In record time".In record time, the Consejería de Fomento has declared the emergency work to ensure road safety and act on the slope and stabilize the slope. For this purpose, a company specialized in landslide containment has been used. A schedule of works has been established with them to guarantee not only road safety, but also to affect as little as possible the mobility and the activity of the station itself, especially on busy days, as has been stated in the coordination meetings held by the Ministry of Public Works with all the affected parties.
Fair but possible deadlines for the new gondola lift that should connect the village of Benasque with the ski slopes of Cerler. If all goes well, the manufacturer will be awarded this summer, and in autumn they will start working for December 2025 to be able to release it.
