The endless summer feeling is over. Last Saturday and Sunday, November 4 and 5, an active storm swept the entire peninsula accompanied by rainfall and the first abundant snowfall.
However, temperatures will experience another decline this Monday, November 6. The State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) ensures that the first snowfalls of some importance will probably occur in the mountainous areas of the north, mainly thanks to the wind input of the northern component.
Thus, it is expected that the level of snow on the peninsula oscillates between 1,000 and 1,200 meters, down to 700 and 900 in the Pyrenees, and 1,300 and 1,500 meters in the Cantabrian and Iberian mountains. In Huesa and Lleida, in addition, there are yellow warnings of snowfall. There will also be weak frosts, according to AEMET, in the interior of the northern half and in the southeast, which will be more intense in the Pyrenees.
