La Massana resort opens on the first Saturday of March with the time extension of the skiing day on Saturdays so that skiers and pedestrians can take advantage of more hours of sunshine at the resort.
This extension will remain in force until the closing day, next April 13, 2020. Also, with the recent snowfall and the forecast of new rainfall for Friday, the resort plans to open its tracks and facilities 100% throughout the entire Weekend.
From now on, every Saturday, the Massana resort will extend its opening hours. The new opening hours apply this Saturday March 7 and will be valid until the end of the season (April 13). The schedule will be from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., so skiers can enjoy another hour of the season without changing the price of the ski pass. All facilities, tracks, ski lifts as well as terraces and premises will be open.
Precipitation falls at the beginning of the week have left fantastic snow conditions. In total, 30 cm of new snow has fallen in the Pal sector and 50 cm in the Arinsal sector. The resort will open this weekend 100% of the slopes , which offer thick snow ranging from 100 cm in low elevation to 150 cm in high altitude with a powder snow quality. But customers can also enjoy all the open facilities, all alternative activities and as always, the different gastronomic offers. The Snowpark will be open with all three levels and La Capa, the most uneven track of the resort, will also open for all skiers.

In honor of International Women's Day , Vallnord - Pal Arinsal hosts and organizes another year jointly with Gala Perfumerías and PIDASA, the Pal Skimo Femení, the solidarity race of mountain skiing and snowshoeing.
Until March 8, participants can also register at Gala Perfumerías in the 109 Carlemany Avenue shop. Participants can choose between two modalities: the Skimo route with 4 km and departure at the Pla de la Caubella de Pal and arrival to Pic del Cubil or the route to perform with rackets of 3.4 km, with departure to the Caubella, half a turn in the Pla de la Cot and return to the Caubella. This race has the common objective of contributing to the Autism Affected Association of Andorra (AUTEA) and celebrating women's day with friends and family.
Fair but possible deadlines for the new gondola lift that should connect the village of Benasque with the ski slopes of Cerler. If all goes well, the manufacturer will be awarded this summer, and in autumn they will start working for December 2025 to be able to release it.
