Hey mums and dads! It’s that time of the year and you need to start packing! It’s always a nuisance especially when travelling with kids as you want to make sure you have all your essentials with you.
As we have plenty of experience travelling to the snow, we thought it would be a great idea to share some tips with you ;)
As you are travelling from far away, we offer you the chance to pre-book your equipment for the snow through the booking process. Once you’ve selected the ski resort and accommodation, you’ll be able to select the equipment range of your choice. It’s easy to collect and our rates are fantastic!
If you’re renting ski equipment, you’ll have boots, skis and sticks included in the price. And if you’re renting snowboard equipment, you’ll have the board and boots included.
Depending on the ski resort, the price of the rental may also include the helmet for children ;) If not, you can always rent it at the shop.
What else do we recommend? Ski bindings to connect your boot to the ski/snowboard ;)
As you may know, when skiing your body temperature experiences fluctuations in either direction and children are prone to catching a cold or a fever. Also, to ski well and comfortably you need to keep warm.
Here is a list of clothing you need to make sure you pack:
Base Layers (“thermals”)
One Piece Ski Suit (totally recommendable instead of a 2-piece)
Waterproof jacket
Neck Gator
Gloves (ideally waterproof as kids love to play with the snow)
Snow Boots
A change of clothes (especially underwear, socks and “thermal” top)
Snow hat
Don’t forget to download our app so you can keep updated on the weather forecast once on location. It’s a great tool when skiing with children to make sure you have everything you need for any situation.
Here you’ll find a list of the items we usually forget and leave back home…
Sunscreen (you easily burn on the mountain without even realising!)
Lip balm
Basic Medication
Tissues
Plasters
To experience a complete and uninterrupted day in the snow, you need to be fully equipped. So here are our recommendations:
Water (it’s very important to keep hydrated at all times)
Sandwiches or chocolate bars
A camera to capture each unique moment
A first aid kit
A plastic bag to put your wet items after
A purse and your and your family’s ID
Cash
We suggest you to put all of these tips and recommendations in good use as they’ll surely help to have a great experience in the snow and be prepared for any unforeseen situation ;)
Fair but possible deadlines for the new gondola lift that should connect the village of Benasque with the ski slopes of Cerler. If all goes well, the manufacturer will be awarded this summer, and in autumn they will start working for December 2025 to be able to release it.
and be the first to receive great ski deals!
