And why ski in Masella? Inaugurated in 1967, it is one of the closest ski resorts to Barcelona city (it is located in the municipalities of Alp, Das and Arús). As for its altitude, it is located between 1,600 m and 2,535 m, which provides a spectacular 935 m slope.. In Masella, you will enjoy a 74 km ski area with 64 alpine ski slopes: 9 green slopes, 24 blue slopes, 22 red slopes and 9 black slopes. To access them, you have 18 ski lifts : 7 ski lifts, 5 chairlifts, 4 conveyor belts and 2 telecords.

Other outstanding facilities that you will find is a ski school, the snow park or snowpark La Pleta and the stadium of initiation to the competition in the Slalom track of La Pleta, ideal for those who do not settle for just climbing on skis.

Although there is no urbanization at the resort, the Alp hotel opens its doors, as well as some ski rental shops and coffee shops. In addition, the closest town to Masella, Alp, is only 7 km away.

On the other hand, it should not be forgotten that La Masella is connected to the neighboring ski resort of La Molina, with which it integrates the Alp 2500 ski area , consisting of 128 km of slopes. There is also the Supermolina urbanization. Getting the set ski pass, you can practice your favorite white sport in any of these two seasons.
