The mountain resort of Boí Taüll (Alta Ribagorça), managed by Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya (FGC Turisme), will once again be the world epicenter of ski mountaineering next winter.
The weekend of February 1 and 2, 2025 Boí will repeat as host of the ISMF Ski Mountaineering World Cup, in sprint and mixed relay modalities, two events that will debut at the Olympic Games Milano-Cortina d'Ampezzo 2026.

In addition, it acquires maximum importance because it will be a qualifier for the games and, therefore, will bring together the best skiers in the world .
The Ribagorçana resort, with the highest skiable height in the Pyrenees at the top of Puig Falcó, is becoming a skimo reference point on its own merits; Last year, Boí Taüll became the venue for the ISMF World Ski Mountaineering Championships and in 2022 it successfully organized the European Championships. This season it has hosted the World Cup.

FGC Turisme values positively the work that has been done these last years in Boí to turn the resort into a fixed venue of the ski mountaineering World Cup calendar.
To continue in this way, it has been agreed with the ISMF and the FEDME to organize international events in the coming years, which guarantees to be able to compete in championships beyond the Olympic Games in Milan-Cortina d'Ampezzo 2026 and bring together the best skiers in the world.
