About the accommodation

Casa Do Refugio features accommodation in studios and apartments located in Covilhã. This country house features a garden and is 10 km from the wide green areas of the Serra da Estrela Natural Park. The air-conditioned units all feature a flat-screen cable TV in the comfortable living area. The apartments feature a kitchen, while the studio comes with an equipped kitchenette. All units include a private bathroom. Free Wi-Fi access is available. The centre of Covilhã is a 7-minute drive and features a several local restaurants where guests can enjoy traditional Portuguese dishes. The self-catering units also allow guests the freedom to cook their own meals in the comfort of their apartment or studio. This farm has traditional production of olive oil, orchards with several different fruit trees, a vegetable garden, herbs and spices. The lush garden dates back to the early 19th century and includes camellias, magnolias and other varied plant life. The gardens have also several ponds. Guarda is a 39-minute drive while historical Viseu is an 80-minute drive away. The Covilhã Train Station is a 6-minute drive from the Casa Do Refugio.
