1 More skiing on the Pas de la Casa night slope and the Peretol SnowPark
2 60 restoration points for all tastes
3 Relax and fun to end the day
4 Ordino Arcalís, with all activities for children and adults

The equator of the 2019-2020 winter season is approaching and the Grandvalira operating teams continue to work intensely to keep all 210 kilometres of slopes and thicknesses open that, after the snowfall of two weeks ago that left more than one meter of snow, they oscillate between 80 and 160 centimeters. The forecasts for the next days are of good weather and some punctual weak precipitation, so the resort arrives in February at full capacity in services and activities, and with the best conditions. A guarantee of full fun without limits for all family members in a month marked by special celebrations such as Valentine's Day or Carnival parties .

Grandvalira is a natural mountain paradise ideal for families, with endless services and activities for all ages. With the aim that children enjoy the same or even more than adults, the resort has 4 nurseries for the smallest of the family in the sectors of Canillo, El Tarter, Soldeu and Grau Roig. Children from 3 to 6 years old can discover the world of snow and skiing among the many proposals offered by the Grandvalira Ski and Snowboard School such as the snow garden, the new Kids Program or the new Burton Riglet teaching methodology, that allows to learn snowboard from the 3 years. In addition, in the largest resort in southern Europe there are also children's ski circuits up to 12 years old: the Mon (t) Magic of the Canillo sector, with the longest thematic slope in southern Europe, the Kid Forest a Paso de la Casa, Grau Roig and Encamp, the Bababoom Circus circuit of the Tarter and the Yokai circuit of Soldeu.

As a complementary proposal for adults, the centers of each of the 7 sectors of the Ski and Snowboard School offer private or group classes in six languages for all ages and levels, as well as other more exclusive formations such as Top Class.

More skiing on the Pas de la Casa night slope and the Peretol SnowPark

Grandvalira is one of the few resorts in the Pyrenees where you can continue skiing within your ski area when you have already closed its doors. This is possible on the Solana / Tubs track, suitable for all audiences and located at the foot of the slopes of the Pas de la Casa sector. This slope is illuminated at night and opens the chairlift on Thursdays and Saturdays from 5pm to 8pm, as long as weather conditions allow. In addition, one more season, the Sunset Park Peretol by Henrik Harlaut (Grau Roig sector) is once again a key meeting point for freestyle lovers from Tuesday to Sunday, with the hallmark of being the only one in the night Pyrenees that opens until 9pm.

Beyond skiing, in Grandvalira there are a multitude of original and fun activities that can be lived with family, but also alone, with friends or as a couple. This is the case of Snake Gliss in the Soldeu sector, a set of articulated sleds that simulate a snake; in Canillo you can enjoy the 555 meter alpine slide Magical Gliss or the zip line, which allows you to reach 80 km / h; The Grandvalira Adventure Center in El Tarter proposes to practice heliskiing, freeride, snowshoeing or mountain skiing and in the Grandvalira Mountain Park in Grau Roig you can enjoy the construction of igloos, snowmobiles or mushing.

60 restoration points for all tastes

Grandvalira has more than 60 restoration points, all operational and distributed throughout the domain, with a wide gastronomic offer that adapts to all tastes and needs. Restaurants such as the Wine & Meat Bar by Jean Leon (Soldeu sector), the Arrosseria Pi del Migdia and La Trattoria (El Tarter), the Brasería Piolet, the 3 Estanys and the Refugi del Llac de Pessons (Grau Roig), the Racó de Solanelles and the AndBurguer (Encamp) or Roc de les Bruixes (Canillo) guarantee that eating at 2,000 meters is an unforgettable experience.

Relax and fun to end the day

The après-ski in Grandvalira is already a benchmark in the Peninsula and a claim for audiences of all ages. The resort has a wide range of bars and terraces in the purest Alpine style, the perfect place to stop during the day or to end it in a relaxed and fun way: IQOS in El Tarter and its lounge terrace with hammocks, Amélie Experience in the Llac de Pessons and its exclusive bar with quality oysters, Cala Bassa Beach Club Costa Rodona in the Pas de la Casa with the essence of Ibiza in the middle of the ski resort, Veuve Cliquot in Soldeu with its exclusive space and both points par excellence of après-ski in Andorra: L'Abarset and Après-Amélie.

L'Abarset has prepared a new performance next Saturday, February 8 with DJ Marko Nastic to end the day's skiing with the best music in the emblematic establishment of El Tarter.

The Après-Amélie del Funicamp will feature Mario J for the El Tonteo session on Friday 7, the next day Saturday 8 will act Kurt Heisz, India and Manu Chaile in the House of Madness session and Sunday 9, to round off the weekend, Dollar The Club party in the late session.

Ordino Arcalís, with all activities for children and adults

Ordino Arcalís keeps 100% of the slopes and facilities open, with dimensions ranging from 110 to 180 cm of hard snow. The decrease and normalization of temperatures has allowed the field teams to advance in the tasks of inivation with the canyons. The resort keeps all activities and restaurants open, the sled slope in the Coma and the children's circuit.
