1 Progressive openings aiming at the weekend

The ski areas ofPas de la Casa y Grau Roigof Grandvalira have kicked off today with a partial opening, and this Monday the Encamp, Soldeu, El Tarter and Canillo ski areas will start, while the ski connection throughout the ski area will be available from Tuesday.

The heavy snowfall has left snow thicknesses of up to 75 cm, which could increase in the coming hours with more precipitation, and the drop in temperatures will allow to produce snow with the aim of opening the maximum of facilities for next weekend.

Grandvalira has kicked off the 2024-2025 season today with the partial opening of the Pas de la Casa and Grau Roig ski areas. Snow precipitations have left between Saturday afternoon and Sunday up to 75 centimetres of snow in the ski resorts, and it is expected that in the coming hours the accumulations will continue to grow.

Thus, Grandvalira increases from Monday the number of slopes open to coincide with the implementation of the ski areas of Encamp, Soldeu, El Tarter and Canillo, which will all be connected by track from Tuesday. The goal is to reach next weekend with the maximum number of skiable kilometres available as the terrain teams will enable the slopes.

Meanwhile, both Pal Arinsal and Ordino Arcalís start the season this Monday with an opening that will also be progressive and will begin enabling the lower areas of the ski areas and will be extended to the higher levels if the weather permits.

Grandvalira, Pal Arinsal and Ordino Arcalís will increase the number of slopes progressively to have the ski areas with the maximum number of slopes and facilities open next weekend.
