The Andorran, Grandvalira , Ordino Arcalís and Pal Arinsal resorts have announced good expectations for the Christmas holidays. Thanks to the weather conditions of recent days, which have brought occasional snowfall and that together with the constant production of snow in the ski areas have allowed to open almost the entire surface of the slopes.

Likewise, all the seasons are committed to offer during this holiday an offer of activities related to Christmas for all audiences and ages. Below we explain the snow conditions of each season:

Grandvalira

The resort prepares the holidays with an expected opening of 80% of the facilities, 130 km of the 210 available. It will also feature the opening of 5 of the 6 sectors linked by tracks ; and all ski and snowboard schools will be open. For Freestyle lovers the resort will offer a wide range of activities that will be complemented by the snowparks offer. As far as snow is concerned, Grandvalira accumulates up to 55 cm .

Ordino Arcalís

This winter resort will open 90% of its ski area . In addition, the Tristania cable car will open to the public from this Saturday at noon, the stick drivers will be able to enjoy this new transport that joins the base of the resort (l'Hortell) with the area of the Coma. This cable car has meant an investment of 7 million euros. Ordino accumulates snow thicknesses of up to 55 cm .

Pal Arinsal

The Pal Arinsal ski resort expands its skiing domain and will offer up to 81% of open slopes with possibilities of extension according to weather conditions. The lifts will be expanded up to 93%. In total the resort will open 37 slopes and 28 lifts for skiers. The snow thicknesses reach 40 cm at the high level and 20 cm at the low level. Finally, the resort will open the Snowpark for the first time this season.
