The ski resorts of the Aramón Group have experienced a weekend with a large number of skiers. The quality of the snow and the great amount of skiable offer, has attracted thousands of people to the slopes of Cerler, Formigal Panticosa, Javalambre and Valdelinares .
In addition, the weather has been very favorable these days with clear skies and no precipitation. Early on Saturday, the Cerler report was marked by the wind, but throughout the morning the station expanded its skiable ski areaalmost completely. The Benasque valley resort is celebrating the long weekend with an 'extra' après ski session in Remáscaro in the afternoon.
The Aramón resorts in Teruel, Javalambre and Valdelinares have opened their slopes almost one hundred percent and have been able to celebrate with their subscribers the start of the season in a traditional vermouth.
In just one week, both winter resorts have started up and worked until opening all their ski lifts and slopes last Friday.
Formigal and Panticosa, with a skiable ski areaof more than 160 kilometres and a large influx of skiers, has also hosted the celebration of the first phase of the Spanish Cup U-14 and U-16 with the Slalom, Giant and Super Giant events, organized by the Aragonese Federation of Winter Sports.
The Sierra Nevada National and Natural Park, the same that embraces the ski resort from which it takes its name, has been included in the IUCN 'Green List', which certifies that there can be coexistence between mountain and slopes.
