16 years ago, in 2003, a project was presented to expand the Formigal ski resort and place a new ski lift between the valleys of Izas and Anayet , this will replace the current four-seater placed in the year 2000 by Doppelmayr; since it looks insufficient.

Also, the extension works were carried out without problems except the ski lift, which was not placed. Now, Aramón has resumed this project. This time the goal is to place a six-seater ski lift and also keep the four-pin fixed caliper.

The first step of the project has been to publish the environmental impact study in the Official Gazette of Aragon , so that for 1 month allegations can be presented since this time, both the exit and arrival situation have been modified; departing from Izas to the Lapazuso pass.

If this new ski lift was finally placed, it would be the second in 2 years installed in the resort, the Culibillas ski lift was released last season, with which 2 new slopes have been drawn. We leave you a video about Culibillas!
