Astún, Candanchú, Formigal and Panticosa delay their opening, what happened?

Yesterday, the Aramón, Formigal and Panticosa group resorts decided to postpone their opening, as did the Javalambre and Valdelinares resorts in Turolenses. But not only them, two other resorts were also added; it's about Astún and Candanchú .

Although last Thursday the Astún resort announced that it would open on December 5 , yesterday he clarified that due to the adverse weather conditions of last weekend they were forced to delay the opening.

On the other hand, Candanchú has also confirmed that it postpones its opening due to high temperatures , last weekend's rain and fog . All this has wreaked havoc on most of the snow that was in the low levels and, although the resort had accumulated enough snow with the help of cannons, it has not been possible.

In spite of the great effort of the operators, "it has not been possible to accumulate the sufficient quantity to be able to guarantee a service of maximum quality during this week" , they explain.

Cerler, on the other hand, which advanced its opening to last Friday, November 30, will continue to offer an average of 30 kilometres of slopes for this bridge of the Constitution .
