Baqueira celebrates carnival with vintage skiing and prizes for the best skiers

Skiing with costumes from the 80's and 90's may have a prize in Baqueira

For Saturday, February 10, Baqueira Beret has prepared a carnival with the ski and snowboard https://www.esquiades.com/en/skiresort/baqueira-beret/ski-track-conditions/ to bring back to the slopes the oversized overalls of the 90s, the colorful fluorine of the 80s, the hippism of the 70s, the basic tones of the 60s. The resort encourages to dust off the costumes of parents and grandparents from the closets in a day accompanied by entertainment, contests, music and raffles throughout the day.

From 11 am in Baqueira 1,500, free animations will start with the children's face painting and Instax photocall for all those who come to the slopes in costume. The costumes of all those who dress in ski and snowboard costumes of past decades will be awarded, the more vintage the costume the more chances of winning the contest and spend a great day different and fun on the slopes.

Among the activities planned is the children's face painting: from 11 am until noon, all children who come to Baqueira 1,500 will be able to paint their faces as they like.

On the other hand, the Instax Photocall will be available for people who dress up and pass by the photocall to take a photo in this format and take it as a souvenir.

For Carnival, the ski resort does not forget the live music that from 13.00 will be played at the Baqueira Bar 1,500 by DJ Yuli, who has prepared a specific session with songs, of course, vintage to end the day skiing in line with the chosen costume. In the Moët Winter Lounge there will also be live music by DJ Faby.
