The Hotel Telecabina de Sierra Nevada will be upgraded to 4-star superior range.
It will join the 'El Lodge, Ski & Spa', one of the two accommodations in this range in the ski resort of Sierra Nevadaand owned by Luxury Hotel Partners, who announced a few weeks ago that it had bought the Monachil hotel to upgrade it to five stars. The other premium is the Rumaykiyya.
Between the two hotels it will create a total of 170 rooms for a high profile customer, after an investment of 10 million euros. The first works should start as soon as the summer is over, in order to be able to inaugurate the Hotel Telecabina (already with a new name) for the 2025-2026 ski season.
To see the conversion of theTravenque Aparthotelinto a five-star hotel, we will have to wait until 2026, when the works should be finished in order to start marketing it for that ski season.
In these two years until the works are finished, it will be analyzed whether Cetursa will manage and market these two new hotels, or if it will outsource them to a specialized company.
Other projects, in this case already underway to inaugurate the next ski season, is the total refurbishment of the old Nevasol restaurant, which will be renamed Covap Alta Expresión, for another two million euros.
The Trevenque Aparthotel in Sierra Nevada becomes a five-star hotel.
