19 and March 20 - 35th International Derby Citizens FIS-CIT

The weekend of 19 and 20 March La Molina held the 35th International Derby Citizens FIS-CIT, Spain Youth Championship. One more year, the resort will host this traditional international ski race, scoring for the World Cup citizens Arnold Lunn, one of the earliest evidence of European calendar for this category.

This Derby consists of a slalom and a giant slalom male and female. The tests are organized by Royal Federation of Winter Sports, Esports d'Catalan Federation Hivern and La Molina. Given the international prestige of the competition, it is expected a high turnout of runners from different European countries, led by Andorrans and French.

March 20 - Meeting of the Ski Club Lluçanès

On Sunday March 20, the resort of La Molina will host a meeting of Lluçanès Ski Club, that will be held a career and make a descent on the Llarga slope with Giants.

Program:

8.00 h: Pícnic Chocolatada in the room where you will receive partners and ski passes will be issued

9.00 pm: Arrival of the Giants

9.30 to 10.30: Race track in Trampolí

Once the race ended, the Giants will head to the Llarga track, which will be a joint down with partners and everyone that point.

March 19 - Departure snowshoe full moon nights

Leveraging Saturday nights clearer, the March 19 Vall de Nuria proposes nights out to enjoy and discover nature during the quiet hours of the day. The activity, designed for all audiences, will be followed by a dinner to regain strength and share the experience with other colleagues.

19 and March 20 - Raid Blanc

On 19 and 20 March will be held the 3rd edition of Raid Blanc, multidisciplinary two-day test, where runners must find the points marked on different maps, in the shortest possible time overcoming various tests of skill, orientation snowshoeing, crampons, rappelling, zip lines, archery and some proof surprise.

This test is aimed at both experienced and novice runners runners who want to experience the harshness of a winter raid. Again, there will be participants from different parts of the peninsula, as it is the only winter raid of the Pyrenees.

19 and March 20 - Baptism snowshoe

On Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 March, the resort Vall de Núria organize christened snowshoe activity, in which participants will enjoy the environment of the hand of experienced guides. The outputs will be held from 10.30 am to 12.30 pm, then there will be free time to discover the valley.

The price of the activity includes Zipper ticket (round trip), guide and equipment (rackets). To perform this activity is necessary to bring warm clothes, gloves, hat and appropriate footwear. In addition, we must make a reservation. Activity from the 7 years.
