Seven hundred meters more of the chairlift and a new track called Solanella XL . These are some of the novelties that we will be able to find next season at the Grandvalira ski resort , and that it has already begun its first work.

In the case of the ski lift, it is an extension of the existing Pla de les Pedres , so you can reach the Peretol snowpark, located in the same place where there was a small ski resort with the same name. The installation, although it was very successful in the freestyler community thanks to among other things because it also opens at night, it was isolated from the rest of Grandvalira, since it did not have a direct access.

With the extension of the ski lift line of the Pla de les Pedres belonging to Saetde, you can not only leave from the snowpark of El Peretol directly to the ski area of Grandvalira, but a new entrance to the Andorran resort is opened. However, it is not currently planned to expand the car park area.

You can also get skiing to the El Peretol snowpark, thanks to the construction of an expert slope that will be named Solanelles XL.

The chairlift reaches just the area where the Andorra airport is to be built , although both facilities would not intercede with each other. Of course, if the air infrastructure pulls forward, passengers can start skiing practically from the plane's stairs.

The information of the works has been advanced this Wednesday by the digital newspaper Altaveu.com , who adds that in addition to the ski lift works, artificial snow is also being placed on the new slope to ensure that it can be accessed by skiing all season.

This fourth entrance to the area controlled by SAETDE in Grandvalira, will also allow to connect directly with the Funicamp from the slopes of the Pas de la Casa and Grau Roig.
