The Grandvalira ski resort faces this weekend March 23 and 24 with an improvement in the conditions of the slopes. Thanks to the precipitations of these last days and the snow production that has reactivated in the last hours.

It is also planned to expand the ski area and exceed 200 km with all ski lifts open. The snow level ranges between 50 and 115 cm. Although by the end of next week the return of the sun and mild temperatures is planned.

Activities for everyone

On the other hand, numerous adventure activities are planned such as mushing , snowmobiling , snowshoes , the zip line , the Magic Gliss as well as night skiing on the La Solana / Tubs slope of the Pas de la Casa sector that lights all Thursdays and Saturdays from 5pm to 8pm, as long as the weather conditions allow.

The riders of the moment in Grandvalira

Starting Monday, Grandvalira starts 3 intense freestyle weeks with the SLVSH Cup and the Total Fight Masters of Freestyle.

Today begins a new edition of the SLVSH Cup , a freeski competition that has been held around the world for years with a particularity that has made it different and unique: it takes place on site, in this case at Sunset Park Peretol by Henrik Harlaut (HH) but the winner's mystery is not disclosed until two weeks after the event and is done through its website www.slvsh.com and its social networks.

Audiovisual productions receive a great return in regards to visualizations and comments. The criteria to determine the winner of the battles between world-class riders are: Creativity, plasticity, demand and innovation in the jumps and pirouettes performed. According to the data of the organizers of the SLVSH Cup , the United States edition accounted for a total of 2 million views among the 16 generated videos, reproductions located in France, Nordic countries and the United Kingdom, all of them Grandvalira potential markets.

The first level riders present during this week to Grandvalira are: Oystein Braten, Jesper Tjader, Colby Stevenson, Ferdinand Dahl, Johan Berg, Finn Bilous, Max Moffat, Quinn Wolferman, Emil Granbom, Hugo Burval, Taisae Yamomoto, Hunter Hess, Mark Hendrickson, Vincent Gagnier, Birk Irving and Oscar Wester.

For its part, the 15th edition of the Total Fight Masters of Freestyle will be held from March 28 to 30 in snowboard mode and from April 4 to 6 in freeski. The slopestyle of the Snowpark El Tarter will be the scene in the fight for the best style among the best riders on the international scene.

Also on Freestyle, Sunset Park Peretol by HH and Snowpark Xavi Sunrise Park organize two campuses with Henrik Harlaut and Noah Albaladejo. The campuses, which will be a combination between freestyle in Grandvalira and freeride in Ordino Arcalís for over 12 years, will take place from April 13 to 16 and from April 18 to 21.

Grandvalira Social with UNICEF Andorra for the benefit of children

Grandvalira Social celebrates next Saturday a ' solidarity brunch ' for the benefit of UNICEF campaigns in Bhutan (Asia) for children suffering from some kind of disability, in the Central African Republic in favor of child soldiers, and in the Central African Republic to improve access to the health and education of the most vulnerable children.
