The summer campaign in Grandvalira will premiere on July 4 with the diversity of sports, adventure and family leisure activities that characterize it and it will do so with a clear and inspiring campaign slogan: "This summer, touch the mountains". The bulk of the activity will start the first weekend of July and will last until September 13, although it could continue depending on the market response.

Grandvalira's commitment is to offer its customers and employees an optimal health and safety environment where they can enjoy nature with full guarantees. For this reason, common sense preventive measures have been taken before Covid-19 in accordance with the recommendations of the health authorities of the Government of Andorra. These measures may be extended or modified according to the health recommendations of each moment, so they are not set in stone.

Mon (t) Magic Family Park

The facilities of the Mon (t) Magic Family Park in the Canillo Sector present one of the main novelties of Grandvalira for this summer, the possibility of making the journey of the Alpine slide Mágic Gliss with a 3D glasses and living a virtual reality experience at 40 km / h, which makes the descent much more fun and frenetic. The attraction is suitable for all ages from 3 years (accompanied by an adult up to 8 years or 1m 30 cm tall).

The other great icon of the Mon (t) Magic Family Park is the 550 m long zip line that crosses Lake Forn, where you can choose to do the activity sitting, lying down or in tandem, this last option is designed to share the parents and children experience.

And in the same line of living an enriching and differential experience, the guided activity of the Path of Legends is offered and the possibility of making visits to bee hives by experienced beekeepers who explain to visitors the different processes of the honey production.

And for the little ones, the Mon (t) Magic Family Park will continue to offer a multitude of activities and games such as slides, acrojump, mini golf and trampolines, among others. And in the Lake Forn area, the activities of water scooters and canoes will continue, as well as the Arapahoe, the summer mushing to ride dog sleds.

Ordino Arcalís and the magical setting of the Tristaina Lakes

The excursion to the Tristaina Lakes is one of the classics of the summer in Andorra for its ease of access, and with the launch of the Tristaina gondola and the restriction of motor vehicles from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. (this time can be modified) to favor the practice of cycling, it has become a more paradisiacal space even as this initiative decongests the area.

The closure of the CG3, which takes place this summer, allows us to offer the last 4.5 km of the port for the exclusive use of cyclists, a fact that ties in with the national tourism strategy of promoting bicycle touring and positions Arcalís as an unprecedented cycling destination among the lucky ones who have been the Tour de France stage finishers, such as the Ordino resort.

Hikers arriving in Arcalís during the closing hours of the road can choose to take the cable car to La Coma or on foot from the base of the resort along the old Verdaguer road, which gives access to the Tristaina glacial cirque, offering an alternative more sporty.

The excursions to the lakes and the different peaks of more than 2,900 meters that start from the Coma del Forat circus are the main attraction of the area. The obligatory stop to regain strength at the Restaurant La Borda de la Coma and its panoramic terrace will be possible from July 4, the date on which the Ordino resort is scheduled to start the activity.

This season as a novelty, as of June 20, the bar-restaurant service opens on the terrace of the Sorteny Refuge, the ideal place to enjoy a good meal and refresh after an excursion through the Sorteny Valley Natural Park.
