The Grandvalira ski resort faces next weekend at full capacity with the forecast of opening 100% of its ski area, with 210 km and thicknesses that currently range from 50 to 110 cm of powder snow. In addition, more snowfall is expected during the next few days.
Those of the last days, gave the Andorran resort more than 75 cm of new snow. The technical teams foresee, throughout this week, the progressive conditioning of more skiable extension until reaching 100%.
The optimal weather conditions registered in the domain have also benefited one of the most unique places of the resort, the renowned Iglú Hotel of the Grau Roig ski resort. This original establishment is progressively expanding its extension and currently has 5 rooms and a fully equipped dining room.
The experience consists of a welcome appetizer, ratrac rise, dinner, spa session and breakfast the next day. Visitors who come during the day can also enjoy the spectacular views from its terrace, where all kinds of delicacies are served and where DJ sessions and events are organized.
