1 Pal-Arinsal Bike Park and Mountain Park
2 The Mirador Solar de Tristaina and the new cabins in Ordino Arcalís

Grandvalira kicks off the summer season on Friday, June 23, with the new e-bike circuits as the main novelties this year and with the aim of strengthening the cycling territory in Andorra. The Mon(t) Magic Family Park and Soldeu Golf will also start their activities on Friday, and the Grandvalira experience will be complemented by the gastronomic options of the Wine & Meat Bar by Jean Leon and, from Saturday June 24, the restaurant of the Refugi del Llac dels Pessons in Grau Roig, among others.

The main novelty this summer will be the Grandvalira E-Bike project, which will be available from this Friday. The resort will offer a total of 94 kilometres of marked routes for electric bicycles, classified according to their technical level and slope (green, blue, red and black), covering the ski areas of Soldeu, El Tarter, Canillo, Encamp, Pas de la Casa and Grau Roig. In addition, it will be possible to purchase the new Bike Pass day pass, which will allow the use of the gondolas in operation to gain slope more easily and access the circuits, saving battery power.

In addition to the exciting summer novelty, Grandvalira will be in full operation from Friday. The Mon(t) Magic Family Park in Canillo will kick off the season with a wide variety of attractions, highlighting the Màgic Gliss slide and a zip line with more than half a kilometre of descent. This year, the park will also premiere the new Acrojump, replacing the previous one.

As for the gastronomic offer and to complete the experience at Mon(t) Magic, stops can be made at the Roc de les Bruixes restaurant, the Xiri Forn or the cafeteria. On the other hand, Soldeu Golf, one of the most popular areas during the summer, will allow golf lovers to enjoy playing on the highest 9-hole golf course in Europe, at an altitude of 2,250 meters. This summer, the area will host competitions and various activities, and those who wish to get started in golf will be able to receive the help of professionals from the Golf School.

As a gastronomic option, the Wine & Meat Bar by Jean Leon will be available, offering an excellent selection of high quality grilled meats paired with Jean Leon's Penedès wines. And for those looking for a more informal snack, the ski area's cafeteria will also be open. The emblematic Refugi del Llac dels Pessons restaurant will reopen its doors on June 24 to offer traditional Andorran cuisine, such as "trinxat", mountain rice dishes and the best grilled meats with wagyu beef.

One option to get to Pessons is to use the 4x4 bus service, which will have a stop in this area until September 11. From this point, starting on Friday, several hiking routes organized by Grandvalira Mountain Guides will begin. These excursions will allow discovering the Andorran flora and fauna, as well as the lakes and peaks of the area. The novelty offered by the GMGs this year are the thematic guided outings, which will allow to enjoy spectacular moments of the Principality's nature, such as different night excursions to observe this summer's supermoons, hikes to witness the sunrise from the Mirador Solar de Tristaina or the circular route Pic del Estanyó in Sorteny.

In addition, the Grau Roig ski area offers the possibility of sleeping in the mountains thanks to the proposals of Epic Andorra. On the one hand, there is the Cabana Piolet, a tree house at 2,150 meters, and on the other hand, the Domo Lodge, a transparent igloo that allows you to enjoy the starry summer nights.

Pal-Arinsal Bike Park and Mountain Park

Starting this Friday, June 23, Pal-Arinsal will open the Mountain Park, an activity center designed for families that offers sports and nature fun. Among the activities available are sports circuits, go-karting and zip lines for adults. In addition, the Bike Park, which has been operating on weekends since June 9, will be open every day until September 11.

The resort will also offer a wide gastronomic variety so that families can enjoy their days of activities or bike rides. The Coll de la Botella restaurant offers high quality mountain cuisine, highlighting its famous mountain rice dishes, as well as fast food options. During the summer, the Expresso restaurant and the Xiringuito de Pal will also be available, completing the gastronomic offer of the resort.

The Mirador Solar de Tristaina and the new cabins in Ordino Arcalís

Summer in Grandvalira Resorts started last June 3 in Ordino Arcalís, with the opening of the lifts that give access to the Mirador Solar de Tristaina. The Creussans chairlift will continue to operate daily until November 1, while the Tristaina gondola lift will open every day from Saturday. The main novelty in Ordino Arcalís are the six new cabins of the Tristaina gondola lift, which have transparent glass floors to improve the panoramic experience during the ascent route, which lasts more than a kilometre and a half, from Hortell to Coma de Arcalís.

The gastronomic offer of Ordino Arcalís is complemented by the La Coma Restaurant, which offers traditional high mountain cuisine, and the Sorteny Refuge, which in addition to catering, provides accommodation for up to 40 people in a privileged natural environment, at almost 2,000 meters of altitude. This place allows to complete the experience in the Ordino valley, which is part of the Biosphere Book recognized by UNESCO. Both Ordino Arcalís and the Sorteny Refuge have applied for the seal of tourism companies committed to the Biosphere Book.
