Grindelwald ski resort unveils the world's first karaoke gondola in the world

Curious things have been seen in cabins. From those that come with a built-in sauna to those that implement as many comforts as a luxury limousine car. But in the Swiss ski resort of Grindelwald , they have wanted to 'curl the curl' by premiering this winter the first one with karaoke.

In collaboration with Ricola, the famous manufacturer of menthol candies, they have transformed two of the Männlichen cabins to incorporate a karaoke machine in each one with its corresponding two microphones and a built-in screen to select from a selection of 36 music hits. Now it will be more difficult to get bored while riding this lift and maybe even more than one, leave the cell phone in your pocket to place a microphone in your hand.

Skiers and travellers can choose from a wide catalog of songs for all tastes among which are themes of Abba, Queen, Psy, and of course, the unexpected revelation of this year: Taylor Swift. They also include for these days something that could not fail and that is so appetizing with a background of snowy mountains: Christmas melodies!

So that nothing can go wrong with the song, Ricola leaves some candies to soothe the throats beforehand.

The Männlichen gondola lift was chosen because it takes no less than 20 minutes to make the journey, undoubtedly one of the lifts that takes the longest time to complete. Nothing has been left to chance, and in the era of social networks and in which "what you do not immortalize has not existed", the Ricola Karaoke-Gondola has a camera to take a picture of the moment that sends it to your cell phone and you can share it with your friends or family.

The Männlichen Karaoke gondola takes 20 minutes to make its journey.
