Since December 24, when the Christmas season kicked off, the number of ski days has exceeded 330,000, a figure that represents a growth of more than 20% compared to last season .
The snow precipitation during December and the great work of the mountain teams have allowed the ski resorts to offer the best conditions in the Pyrenees during the holiday s, with an average of 145 skiable km available in Grandvalira, and between 80% and 95% of the slopes open in Pal Arinsal and Ordino Arcalís.

The figures achieved this Christmas not only improve on those of the previous year, when snow conditions were not optimal, but exceed those of previous seasons, marking this holiday as the best Christmas period since the 2019-2020 season. David Ledesma, marketing director of Grandvalira Resorts, points out that.
"Customers are still very keen to ski, and it has helped that this year the weather has been very pleasant and the snow conditions have been more favorable compared to previous seasons."
As for the balance of each resort, Pal Arinsal has shown a very good performance, with a growth of over 30% compared to the previous Christmas period, as well as Ordino Arcalís, which, although it has a very high level of skiing, has shown a very good performance, with a growth of over 30% compared to the previous Christmas period. Ordino Arcalís which, although it achieved record figures last season, also maintains a growth of over 30% during the Christmas period. For its part, Grandvalira has once again been key to achieve these positive figures for the overall total.
Grandvalira, Pal Arinsal and Ordino Arcalís recorded more than 330,000 ski days. The day of maximum occupancy was Saturday, December 28, with a total of 33,393 ski days: 24,455 in Grandvalira, 3,624 in Ordino Arcalís and 5,324 in Pal Arinsal.

The good influx that has accompanied this Christmas period, together with the forecast of bookings for the coming weeks, make the outlook for January positive for the resorts of Andorra. Ledesma explains enthusiastically that,
"The forecasts are good, future sales and bookings indicate so, but we must be very cautious because it depends on the weather," explained Ledesma. It should also be noted that with the end of the promotional period for the sale of the Andorra Pass and Nord Pass season passes on December 22, Grandvalira Resorts has significantly increased sales among customers residing in the country (+16%) who have the passes, as a result of population growth.

Great participation in the Christmas proposals
During these days, skiers and non-skiers have been able to enjoy and participate in the different proposals that the resorts had prepared to celebrate Christmas, such as the visits to Santa Claus at the Rústic restaurant in Pal Arinsal, at the Cabaneta de Incles in Canillo and at the Mon(t) Magic Family Park in Santa Claus at the Rústic restaurant in Pal Arinsal, at the Cabaneta de Incles in Canillo and at the Mon(t) Magic Family Park, where children can have a snack with Santa Claus and his elves and deliver the letter with their wishes.
The traditional descents of torches and little lights of Soldeu have marked some of the most visual and emotional moments, while the parade of the Three Wise Men in Pas de la Casa, accompanied by a descent of torches and the fireworks show, has been one of the most magical moments and followed by families. The weather has allowed all the planned activities to take place normally and visitors could enjoy them one hundred percent.
The catering establishments and ski schools have also worked almost 100%, as well as the activities of Grandvalira Resorts, which have also been close to full employment. In Grandvalira, mushing, snowmobiling, the Mon(t) Magic Family Park in Canillo and night skiing in Pas de la Casa, or the new proposal in Soldeu, the MoonBikes, stood out, while in Pal Arinsal the activities for children, especially the toboggan run, were very well received. In Ordino Arcalís the guided snowshoeing excursions at Port del Rat and at the Mirador Solar de Tristaina have been very well received.

Top Christmas at L'Abarset
L'Abarset continues to vibrate every day with its musical and gastronomic proposals, which this season have already been enjoyed by more than 25,000 customers. Saturday sessions and special parties with consolidated international brands such as Brunch Electronik and Bresh parties, continue to consolidate the venue as the peak of après-ski in the Pyrenees as shown by the fact that tickets are sold out weeks before the event.
Stay in El Tarter and discover l'Abarset
During these holiday s, L'Abarset has hosted a Bresh party, "the most beautiful party in the world", as its Argentinian promoters claim, and an edition of the Brunch Electronik with Âme, Hardt Antoine and Greta Levska. But the famous venue in the El Tarter area has also organized its first New Year's Eve party, with a daring proposal of 12 hours of non-stop entertainment from 4 p.m. to 4 a.m. with après-ski, dinner with musical performance, and a special edition of the AFTER Party. A new formula to welcome the new year that, once again, has been very well received by the attendees and has transmitted happiness and fun.

The interior of L'Abarset becomes a unique space, with capacity for 400 people, with two rooms and different atmospheres: Main room, main room with VIP area and the green room which is the space to discover.
On December 29th L'Abarset also celebrated its first charity party with the performance of The Trivute. The proceeds from the tickets were given 50/50 to the Caritas Andorran Food Bank and the Association of Minority Diseases of Andorra (AMMA).
The restaurant, for its part, has hung the sign of full every day, both for lunch and dinner, showing the good assessment and perception of diners of the new menu this season. Its best dishes and suggestions have married perfectly with a menu of signature cocktails, wines and champagnes of reference. In addition, as a novelty this season, L'Abarset has presented L'Aiga, its own distillate with Andorran seal and Pyrenean character, which offers a sensory journey for the finest palates, where you can taste the authenticity of the products of the Andorran land.
