The snowfall and low temperatures of the last days have resulted in offering optimal snow conditions across the entire ski resort.
Therefore, we expect that what is left of the ski season is going to be ideal for those of you who are thinking of booking a last-minute ski break on Esquiades.com.

The largest resort in southern Europe has a wide variety of options for you to make the most of the snow: alpine, skimo, freeride and freestyle ski.

The month of March has arrived in Grandvalira with 20 centimetres of fresh snow thanks to the rainfall of the last days. According to the weather forecast, there's more snow to come in the next few days and the current snow thicknesses, which has increased to 50 centimetres, will continue to increase. The ski resort wants to guarantee ideal snow conditions and so, the field teams are working hard and the snow production network is being activated regularly, benefiting from the current adverse weather conditions.

Thus, the expectations for the last two months of winter are good, with 100% of the ski area open since before the start of the Christmas holidays and all activities and services at full capacity. The fresh snow guarantees skiers to enjoy the 210 kilometres of slopes with quality powder snow and an endless range of plans that go beyond skiing to round off a stay full of unique experiences to live with family, friends or in partner.

'First snow' to step on the target before anyone else

A perfect proposal to experience the feeling of skiing with new snow from the early hours of the morning is the activity First Snow, an exclusive program for those who want to lower the slopes before anyone else and experience the feeling of being alone with the environment, rounding the morning with a delicious breakfast at the Pi de Migdia Restaurant, in the El Tarter sector.

However, Grandvalira has an endless cast of activities at the Grandvalira Adventure Center in El Tarter, to fully enjoy the new snow that has fallen practicing snow sports. From the adrenaline of the helieski on virgin snow on off- slope terrain, to the guided freeride and mountain ski outings that allow you to safely discover idyllic corners of the resort and climb the most emblematic peaks of Andorra, or the possibility for freestyle lovers Enjoy the three Snowparks, extending the day until nine at night at Sunset Park Peretol by Henrik Harlaut, the only one with night hours in the Pyrenees.

Beyond skiing, the Andorran resort also offers all kinds of activities at the Grandvalira Mountain Park in the Grau Roig sector, such as the attractive sleigh rides with dogs and snowshoes in an incomparable nature setting, the always fun Snow tubing or the Construction of igloos and snowmobiles.

Magical evening experiences among the freshly fallen snow

At a gastronomic level, Grandvalira maintains 100% of its more than 60 open establishments. Thus, customers have a wide offer distributed across the seven sectors of the domain and for all types of palates. During the day, dozens of establishments with terrace and music such as the IQOS of El Tarter, the Cala Bassa Beach Club Round Coast of Pas de la Casa, the Veuve Clicquot de Soldeu or the Amélie Experience of the Llac de Pessons become the place perfect to make a stop during the day or to end it in a relaxed and fun way.

Visitors with the most demanding palates can live gastronomic experiences at more than 2,000 meters high, which, thanks to the snowfall of these days, will have a more magical point during the night, with dinners at the Pessons Lake Refuge, Vodka bar, the 3 Lagos restaurant, the Arroceria Pi del Mediodía, the Piolet brasserie, the Roc de les Bruixes restaurant and the Wine & Meat bar by Jean Leon that can be accompanied by activities such as snowshoes, snowshoeing.

The best après-ski after the closing of the resort doors

In the afternoon, coinciding with the closing of doors of the resort, après-ski gains prominence. The reference establishment in the Pyrenees, L'Abarset, located in the sector of Grandvalira El Tarter, will have the performance of DJ Chus in the Saturday afternoon session. Aprés Amélie del Funicamp, meanwhile, will have Mario J in the session El Tonteo on Friday and Angel de Andres, Oriol Calvo and Sara de Araújo in the House of Madness session on Saturday.

Enjoy, the world's top10 restaurant, on Saturday at the Snow Club Gourmet

The Snow Club Gourmet of Soldeu-El Tarter will host this Saturday the fourth day with the restaurant Enjoy BNC as a guest. Under the title High spheres, "enjoy by Caviaroli", this restaurant with 2 Michelin stars, which is in the top 10 of the best restaurants in the world according to the list of prestigious international media World 's 50 Best Restaurants, will offer a personal gastronomic proposal and creative in the restaurant Cabaña de Espiolets with authentic technical skill, based on playing with shapes and textures but keeping the flavors tremendously clear.

Ordino Arcalís accumulates 50 cm of new snow

Ordino Arcalís continues to accumulate a significant thickness of snow. The last snowfall has left up to 50 cm of new snow at the highest levels and forecasts indicate that the new fronts for the weekend will be very active. In this way, the resort will continue to maintain the maximum of slopes and lifts in performance, touching the opening of 100%. The quality of the snow is dust, with thicknesses ranging from 100 to 170 cm.
