Port Ainé opens its first slopes tomorrow, Tuesday, December 5th.

The ski resorts of Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya (FGC) in Pallars Sobirà start tomorrow, Tuesday December 5, with the opening of its first slopes for the beginning of the Immaculate Conception.

The snowfall in the last hours and especially the reinforcement of snow production, will allow the opening of 4 skiable kilometres in Port Ainé, and another 2 in Espot.

The catering services, sale and rental of ski equipment will also be available from tomorrow, Tuesday December 5, as well as ski lessons in both resorts. As for events scheduled for the Immaculate Conception, Port Ainé and Espot will celebrate the international day of the mountains on December 9.

News for this season

FGC ski resorts in Pallars, have prepared a series of improvements focused on customer comfort, as well as the guarantee of snow.

Thus, in Port Ainé a new panoramic viewpoint has been placed at Cota 2000 called "El Balconet de Port Ainé". More ski lockers with electronic combination have been created. New Self-Sale Machine at Cota 2000 and Screen at Rialp.

On the slopes, we will find the renovation of the freestyle modules and new signage in the Snowpark.

In Espot Esquí, the Bruseras slope has been widened and new windbreaks have been installed. This improvement will not only increase the capacity of the slope, but will also provide a more pleasant downhill experience.

A lookout point has been installed at the Creu de l'Eixol, at the end of the snowshoeing route. Renovation of the furniture in the Cota 2000 self-service area, a new 'Customer Service Point' at the base of the ski resort and a new module with an inclusive dressing room complete the most outstanding improvements in Espot.
