Sierra Nevada marks November 30 as the start of the ski season

Cetursa, the company that manages the facilities of the ski resort of Sierra Nevada, has marked Saturday November 30 as the first day of the new winter season 2024-2025. This is the result of the last communiqué on social networks where it reminds that there are only 50 days left for the opening of the first lifts and slopes.

It will depend, of course, that enough snow has already fallen or that the conditions have been given to be able to make it. This summer Cetursa has once again reinforced its cannon park by incorporating 20 new high and low pressure devices. Eight of them are on the 'new' Superverde slope. This is a route that, according to the company, was already in use and has now been signposted and incorporated into the ski slope plan.

These days work is being done to finalize the work for next season, including the signaling of slopes, the revision of facilities and the reform of the Borreguiles gondola lift, which this winter will have new cabins. They have been sent to France, where a specialized workshop has improved them from top to bottom. They will now have padded people and new windows.
