Sierra Nevada opens the largest number of skiable kilometers in Southern Europe

Sierra Nevada faces this weekend with the largest skiable offer in Southern Europe, more than 70 skiable kilometres of the appreciated spring snow of the Granada resort and all the operating slope, the 1,200 meters that separate the vicinity of the Veleta peak and the urbanization of Pradollano.

The winter resort offers slopes for all levels in its six skiable areas (Parador-Cauchiles, Rio, Borreguiles, Loma de Dílar, Borreguiles, Veleta and Laguna), with snow thicknesses ranging between 30 and 150 centimeters. This ski deal will be accessed by 13 ski lifts.

Otherwise, Sierra Nevada hosts during the weekend a busy sports agenda with alpine skiing, snowboarding and freestyle competitions. The Andalusian Championship of Adapted Skiing FANNDI, the Andalusian Championship of Alpine Skiing U14 and U16, and the Spanish and Andalusian Championship of Slopestyle snowboard and freestyle. This weekend the music returns to the heart of the slopes with the sessions of the DJ's Set Borreguiles (12.30 pm in Borreguiles terrace). This Thursday Robert Peinado has performed, on Friday it will be the turn of Joha DJ and on Saturday Robert Peinado and Gabi.
