Sierra Nevada has received during last night over 50 inches of snow in their heights, medium and high. The expectations of the opening of all mechanical face at the weekend are very positive.

The snowfall of late has come accompanied by strong wind, allowing the accumulation of snow drifts. The snow grooming machines are working at full throttle to condition the new areas. Thus, it is anticipated that this weekend will open up to 100 kilometres of tracks, including slopes of high difficulty, which opened for the first time this season.

The weather forecast for the weekend could not be better. Sunny days are expected, with a slight increase in temperatures and light winds.
