1 The first edition, in figures

The fair of reference of the sector of the snow, Esquiades SnowFun , postpones his second edition temporarily. This is a decision made by the organizers of the event, the travel agency Esquiades.co.uk and firaReus, after a period of searching for new sponsors, both in the public and private sectors. The response has not been positive and does not allow organizing a second edition that exceeds the high expectations of the first.

So, despite the good results of the first edition, and the desire and enthusiasm on the part of Esquiades.com and firaReus to celebrate a more ambitious and powerful edition, a new celebration of the event is contemplated in the future, or the organization of another type of proposal linked to the sector. In this sense, the Esquiades SnowFun team appreciates the trust that all the participants and collaborators placed in the first edition, as well as the thousands of visitors who were able to enjoy the first experiential snow fair in the state. A unique event with a renewing focus on the world of snow fairs.

During the weekend of 11 and 12 November 2017, Reus became the ski capital of southern Europe, and Esquiades SnowFun in a snow theme park with attractions as suggestive as the most innovative ski simulator in the world, an infinite ski slope or an ice skating rink of 100 m2.

The first edition, in figures

The exhibitors and collaborators that participated in Esquiades SnowFun made this first edition a success: more than 7,000 attendees, 30 exhibitors and 50 collaborators, among which the main ski resorts of the peninsula stand out. There were also more than 20 activities related to the snow sector, as well as 16 conferences and presentations of the season with speakers and recognized athletes in the field of skiing.

Finally, Esquiades SnowFun distinguished itself by having a space dedicated to networking, which included a dinner of professionals and personalities linked to mountain tourism. Bloggers, elite athletes, resort directors and journalists. In short, the first edition of Esquiades SnowFun became the epicenter of mountain tourism.
