And why Ordino-Arcalís, one of the three ski resorts in Andorra? The reasons why choosing this destination, which borders France through the municipality of Auzat, are many.

To start, the resort is in the Pyrenees and at an altitude of about 2,000 m. Inaugurated on December 22, 1983, it has a building that concentrates all services : 5 bars and restaurants, ski equipment rental and first aid center, which adds a wide range of hotels in Andorra near the slopes . Without a doubt, the best accommodation for your ski vacation on the December bridge in Ordino-Arcalís!

In addition to a slope of 685 m, between 1,940 m and 2,625 m above sea level, Ordino-Arcalís puts at your disposal 30 km of skiing, distributed in 28 tracks of all levels: 9 green, 7 blue, 10 red and 2 black, to which we must add 6 FIS approved tracks. A total of 101 artificial snow cannons ensure that they are in perfect condition during the opening period. Access to them is done by 16 mechanical lifts : 6 ski lifts, 4 telecords, 2 fixed chairlifts, 1 detachable chairlift, 1 cable car and 1 covered conveyor belt.

And there is more: 5 beamed mountain ski circuits , 3.4 km of marked routes, a freestyle area , 2 freeride areas, - one for beginners and one for advanced skiers - a snowpark, a boarder cross , a children's circuit, a wood park, a place of slalom, a space for beginners with free telecord and a ski school. If it is the first time you get on skis, do not miss the Megaverde , the longest beginner's longest track in southern Europe thanks to its 8 km.

By the way: from the 2019-2020 season, you can ski in Ordino-Arcalís and Grandvalira share with the same ski pass. Of course: this ski pass is not valid for Pal-Arinsal, the other resort of Vallnord.
