It lies at an altitude of 3,250 metres and the slopes go all the way down to 1,250 metres. It’s part of a huge ski area called Paradiski that spreads across a total of 425 km (Les Arcs-Peisey Vallandry and La Plagne-Les Coches).
If you are planning on flying into the French Alps, you should know that the heart of the Alps is Chambéry. So, if you fly into Chambéry Airport, you can take a bus transfer to La Plagne ski resort and it will take around 90 minutes. Other possible airports are located in Geneva and Lyon, and the bus transfer takes more or less 2 hours and 30 minutes.
