If you're wondering if La Plagne is good for beginners, the answer is yes. Out of a total of 127 runs, 72 are blue and 30 are red. Most part of this french ski area is on a plateau where there are wide and easy slopes for you to gain some confidence.
The ski resort lies at an altitude of 3,250 metres and the slopes go all the way down to 1,250 metres. So, the answer is definitely yes. La Plagne ski resort is expected to open on December 15 ;)

La Plagne was initially known for having the local take part in bobsleigh competitions. They have a track that is open to holidaymakers at the end of the afternoon. You should definitely give it a go! What a rush!
