La Plagne ski resort has more than 225 km of slopes. It is one of the most famous areas of France. This ski resort is located 2 h 34 min (214.9 km) from Lyon and 2 h 23 min (195.1 km) from Geneva.

It is connected through the Vanoise Express, one of the largest cable cars in the world, with the Les Arcs ski resort forming Paradiski, the second largest ski area in the world with 425 km of slopes.
