The Peyragudes ski resort is located in the Louron Valley, in the French Pyrenees , just one hour from the Bielsa and Vielha tunnels. It was born in 1988, the result of the union of Peyresourde and Agudes, two small resorts that joined their domains.
Peyragudes, which belongs to the N'PY resort group, is probably the most modern resort in the French Pyrenees . Surrounded by incredible peaks up to 3,000 m high, with slopes of 1,600 to 2,400 meters high, it is the true definition of mountain tourism. Its environment is exceptional for skiing, but also for carrying out other activities, such as snowshoeing, mushing, paragliding or relaxing baths in the spa, among others.
Your stay in Peyragudes will be characterized, among others, by its dynamism and technological advances . The resort is state-of-the-art in winter sports: it is a pioneer in artificial snow cannons and detachable chairlifts. It is also a benchmark thanks to the GPS track status system, which offers real-time data on track damage due to avalanches or other incidents 24 hours a day. Also, if you are a lover of extreme sports, this is your place. Peyragudes has a marked 6 km cross-country ski track and a Snowpark where you can do the best stunts.
Did you know that this season you could enjoy a new cable car ? This new cable car connects the little village of Loudenvieille (900m) to the altitude resort of Peyragudes (1600m), right at the foot of the slopes, both in winter and in summer. It has been christened Skyvall , a clear nod to the James Bond 007 agent with whom Peyragudes feels identified after some of the scenes from "Tomorrow Never Dies" were recorded in his high port.
The Skyvall has a route of 3 kilometers, will save a height difference of 650 meters and will transport a total of 32 cabins of 10 passengers each. Among them, skiers and pedestrians can go, and in summer mountain bikes!
Take a look at our ski offers in Peyragudes. The time has come to try different tracks that are very accessible at the same time.
