Barcelona, November 13, 2019 - For this winter season 2019-2020, Vallnord - Pal Arinsal has made an investment of more than three million euros for the improvement of infrastructure, cultivation snow, slopes and customer services with the aim of directly impacting your experience at the resort. EMAP allocates 2.2 million euros in these improvements, but at the same time, the Comú de la Massana has made a direct contribution of 500 thousand euros that will allow to expand the water tanks located in the Caubella, as well as the construction of a new Water tank located in the Coll de la Botella. This year, a private entity is also involved in the investment, which contributes a total of 500 thousand euros in heated lockers that will improve customer comfort.
EMAP investments are aimed at improving the customer experience and for this reason, the resort makes a big bet on the cultivation snow with the aim of offering a snow-guaranteed season, Vallnord - Pal Arinsal has placed 32 new Inivadores, of which 12 are low pressure. These are distributed in the Pal sector, on the Fontroja, Corpalanca and Camí lower slopes but, in addition, in the Arinsal sector, innumerators have been placed low pressure in Marrades. In total the resort has 398 snow cannons and a capacity of 1,140 m3 per hour, corresponding to 43 of the 63 kilometres, 68% of the resort. The fleet of vehicles with two snow treadmill machines has also been renewed, currently having a total of 10 machines that allow 100% of the slopes to be offered every day.

As for the slopes, Vallnord - Pal Arinsa has expanded the meters of the Lower Camí track, a narrow slope that will now offer a total of 12 meters wide, improving the safety of skiers on this stretch. At the same time, a new access to the area of the Devesa, for the Freeride , has been made and finally the extension of the area of debutantes of the Snowpark has been made , obtaining a more remodeled and comfortable aspect with an extension of 15 meters wide and 200 meters long. Maintenance work carried out during the summer has also allowed for less snow, more skiing. The resort has removed stones and cut branches that will allow the use of snow. As for the viewpoints , three new ones have been conditioned to offer a better customer experience and better views. The lighting and improvements of the Camí de la Serra in the 200 meters of start and end of the journey to enhance the night climb and access to the Pla de la Cot restaurant during the nights.
As for the safety of the resort , the three conveyor belts have been covered to prevent the closing of the belts in snowy days and prejudice the safety of skiers on the belts. In this sense, new type A protections have also been placed on type C support in the Serra ski lift and in the Coms ski lift.
Vallnord - Pal Arinsal currently has two medical centers with a total of 21 slope rs for 63 kilometres, that is, 1 slope r every 3 km, making it one of the safest resorts. Safety also translates to the slopes as the resort has worked to create mountain ski circuits and rackets fully marked and separated from alpine skiing. This separation guarantees the safety of skiers and differentiates users 100%.

As for the comfort of the customer , with the investment made by the Comú de la Massana, the resort will carry out the construction of a new water tank at the Coll de la Botella and the extension of the current deposit to the Caubella . Also, with an investment of 500 thousand euros, new heated lockers will be placed, offering customers a more comfortable option for the winter season. To continue with the improvement of the service and comfort, the resort has expanded the car park of the Fontanals, offering a greater number of places, and has had a new vending machine that will be located at the Telesilla del Cubil. In total, the resort offers a total of 7 vending machines that allow a faster and more comfortable service.
In the digital area, also thanks to the new agreement with Andorra Telecom, the connectivity network of the resort with the WIFI service has been enhanced. Users connected to this network may receive information from the resort about the snow or ski lifts. As for the digital platform , the website is renewed with a new domain: vallnordpalarinsal.com, a more usable and intuitive website. At the same time, a new APP that will be available for the opening of the winter season is released. The reservation center is also improved and offers a better offer of packages, services among others.
In restoration , the furniture of the restaurants Pla de la Cot and Express is changed by the hand of Estrella Damm, collaborator of Vallnord - Pal Arinsal. At the same time, a new menu and more healthies lunches are proposed and finally, in order to continue entertaining the little ones, gifts with all children's menus will be offered.

In the environment , Vallnord - Pal Arinsal has always been a company with awareness and responsibility. For years, the resort always carries out garbage collection with the internal equipment at the resort and, at the same time, in all the events that take place, it takes into account the environmental impact. The goal of the resort is to avoid, reduce and, as far as possible, compensate for all the acts that are performed . In restoration this season, in addition to all the products being local, selective collection and disposal of the pods is still offered . Likewise, it is a solidarity season that every year performs different events with a beneficial objective. In summer, he made different solidarity contributions to Amigos del Nepal, Assandca, MSD Foundation - Multiple Deficit of Sulfactasa and the Gavernera Center. This winter, the Skimo Solidaria, the Skimo Feminine among others, are some of the solidarity events that are expected to take place.
Finally, Vallnord - Pal Arinsal is one of the only resorts to host three World Cups during the year . This year, it will host the Comapedrosa Andorra, ISMF Mountain Ski World Cup to be held on January 25 and 26. But it is not the only one: the BTT World Cup and the Comapedrosa Skyrace are the two great events of the year during the summer.
