Esquiades SnowFun is our reference point to this year’s 2017/2018 ski season.It is going to be a 100% Snow Fair dedicated to promoting of skiing, other snow sports and the best locations for the Winter season. It is surely going to be the number one event in mainland Spain for ski and snow enthusiasts to attend to as well as for anyone that wants to get to know this world.

FiraReus will host the first interactive snow fair of mainland Spain known as Esquiades SnowFun. The project began with a collaboration between firaReus and Esquiades.co.uk , the leading ski travel agency that offers accommodation packages and ski passes in Spain. They promote Winter sports and mountain getaways during the Winter season. Not only will this event be crucial for winter sports lovers, but it will also be the event for those who wish to get involved in this industry and make new contacts.

The mayor of Reus, Carles Pellicer, has stated that "the city of Reus has a lot of experience in organising fairs and conventions through firaReus and REDESSA". The Esquiades.co.uk CEO states that this event will be different to any other events as it won't be conventional as SnowFun will be a reference point for future events to come."We will organize an interactive fair where the visitors can have fun, interact with others and take part in activites and games which all be related to the snow industry".

Esquiades SnowFun will have five different areas in the firaReus:

SnowTech

Visitors will get to feel as if they are really skiing or snowboarding thanks to virtual reality games. This will definetly be one of the most visited areas of the fair.

SnowTalks

There will be workshops, presentations, monologues and film projections about the snow industry. There will also be raffles where you can get to win a weekend ski holiday and other snow activities.

SnowCook

There will be an area that will focus on mountain gastronomy, such as foodtrucks and other tasting places.

SnowActivities

There will be loads of fun activities to take part in, all of which are related to the snow such as skiing, snowboarding, mushing, etc.

SnowExpo

There will also be an exhibition space, stands and workshops that will have a complete set of relevant exhibitors from different ski resorts and mountain tourism. They will be offering visitors information about their products and destinations.

Confirmed Exhibitors and Collaborators

At the moment, we can confirm that the following ski resorts will be present: Grandvalira and Vallnord, Aramón Group, leaders in the Aragonese Pyrenees; Boí Taüll, Baqueira Beret and others from the Catalan Pyrenees. Not to forget Font Romeu Ski Resort.

There will also be exhibitors such as Caldea Spa Centre, one of the most renowned thermal centres, or Pic Negre, who sell and rent out ski and snowboard equipment, with 17 stores in Andorra. Likewise, Esquiades.co.uk will have its own space to offer and inform about its wide range of holidays to the snow. In addition, Esquiades SnowFun has the collaboration of Nevasport, Andorra Tourism and Madrid SnowZone.
