Piau-Engaly

It offers a wide range of activities: caving, canyoning, airboat, hydrospeed, rafting, climbing, Moudang adventure course with 35 different workshops, zip lines, monkey bridges, via ferrata, electric bike, trotti rando, fully equipped rock climbing initiation course at the height of the Mouscadès chairlift .... Cultural visits include the Templar chapel and the church of the village of Eget. You can also discover the fauna and flora of the Upper Aure Valley with guides from the Pyrenees National Park.

The Vignecoise farm also offers morning transhumance walks accompanied by one of the valley's herdsmen. Coming to Piau is also an opportunity to taste honey, cheeses and other products of the farm.

• Piau Bike Center. New mountain bike trail made up of modules directly on the slopes. The Campbielh chairlift is equipped to transport bicycles and new downhill trails have been installed.

• A downhill track links Piau to Fabian Bike Center and a shuttle links Fabian Bike Center to Piau Bike Center for the return holiday.

• New activities with Piau Adventure: 10-hole mini-golf. Disc-Golf, Rubgy-golf. The Corde Game (rope game), a mix of skill games and Escape Game.

Grand Tourmalet

It is also the starting point to climb the Pic du Midi.

Luz Ardiden - Saint Sauveur

A destination for cyclists, Luz is the base camp for beginners and experienced climbers alike. The variety of the terrain allows cycling all year round. Tackle the legendary climbs and passes that have made the Tour de France famous: Col du Tourmalet, Luz Ardiden? Everyone at his own pace.

For the more adventurous, tandem paragliding, via ferrata and zip-line course (the longest in France), climbing wall, canyoning, mountaineering... Others like to savor the secret charm. The narrow streets of Luz Saint Sauveur are an authentic landscape dotted with architectural treasures.

With the application "Patrimoine en balade" you can take a fun and original tour and discover the small built heritage and the wash houses of Luz by listening to the anecdotes of its inhabitants. After a tour of the city, you can go to the bowling alley, the ice rink, the cinema or the gym.

The ascent to Luz Ardiden, is known as the magic climb or the mountain of the Spanish, nickname earned thanks to the number of Spanish riders who have been victorious on this beautiful mountain in the Tour de France.

The Pont d'Espagne, located 7 km from Cauterets, is the gateway to the Pyrenees National Park, and has become the starting point for excursions through forests, torrents, waterfalls, lakes and breathtaking landscapes.
